Overview

We invite you to the tour across the Primorye region, the place where the great taiga meets the waters of the warm Sea of Japan and gives us a meeting with the Ussuri tigers and Far Eastern leopards. You will cross the Primorye region from south to north. You will visit the highest peaks of Sikhote-Alin, see fantastic kekuras, go down to the canyon to the Black Shaman waterfall, plunge into the atmosphere of the Sea of Japan. A varied, interesting and challenging route expects you. Tour is designed for people with an average level of physical fitness, you won’t need to carry a heavy backpack.

Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival to Vladivostok
Arrival to Vladivostok. Transfer to hotel Amur Bay***/Azimut Vladivostok****. Accommodation since 14:00.
Day 2. Free day in Vladivostok
Breakfast. Free day in Vladivostok. Optional 4-h Vladivostok city sightseeing tour with the visit to the Vladivostok Fortress Museum and Submarine-C 56 Museum or Optional tour to the Safari-park (tiger and leopard parks). (B)
Day 3. Rimsky-Korsakov archipelago and the bays of the Sea of Japan
Breakfast. Check out. Departure to the Khasansky district, to the Gamow peninsula. On the way, a stop in the village of Barabash. Arrival in the Vityaz Bay. Accommodation in the guest house «Karakin». Dinner. (included in the price of accommodation). Excursion «Garden of stones and islands». Excursion with a visit to the Telyakovsky Bay and the island of the «Languishing heart». There is a natural sea bath with a heart-shaped stone boulder to which the island owes its name. Dinner. Excursion «Garden of stones and islands»: the route offers a magnificent panorama of the islands of the Rimsky-Korsakov archipelago and the bays of the Sea of ​​Japan. You will come across majestic dense-flowered pines, beautifully flowering and rare plants: in May-June, the Pointed and Schlippenbach rhododendrons, in July — drooping and Tiger lily, Middendorf daylily. Excursion with a visit to the Telyakovsky Bay and the island of the «Languishing heart». There is a natural sea bath with a heart-shaped stone boulder to which the island owes its name. Day 4. Excursion to Cape Sosnovy & National Park "Land of the Leopard"
Breakfast. Excursion to Cape Sosnovy, Baklany kekura: admiring the Larga seal rookery, bird colonies. Departure to the village of Barabash. Lunch (to be paid on spot) at a cafe in Andreevka village. Arrival in Barabash settlement. Excursion in the visit center of the National Park «Land of the Leopard». Accommodation at the guest house «Kedrovaya Pad». Dinner (to be paid on spot). Free time, rest. (B)

Day 5. Barabash – Arsenyev - Kavalerovo
At 07.00 early breakfast (to be paid on spot). Departure to Kavalerovo. You leave behind the East Manchurian mountain system, the valley of the Razdolnoye river and drive towards the Sikhote-Alin ridge. Arrival to Kavalerovo, Excursion to the artificial waterfall of the Khrustalnensky mining and processing integrated plant. Accommodation at the hotel «October». Dinner (to be paid on spot). Free time.
At 07.00 early breakfast (to be paid on spot). Departure to Kavalerovo. You leave behind the East Manchurian mountain system, the valley of the Razdolnoye river and drive towards the Sikhote-Alin ridge. A stop for lunch (to be paid on spot) at a café in the village of Ivanovka. On the way, you will have a chance to take memorable photos in the city of Arsenyev at the monument to Arseniev and Dersu Uzala. Arrival to Kavalerovo, Excursion to the artificial waterfall of the Khrustalnensky mining and processing integrated plant. Accommodation at the hotel «October». Dinner (to be paid on spot). Day 6. Museum of the Stone, Bay of Two Brothers, Cape Severny, Blagodatnoye lake tract
At 07.30 breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Dalnegorsk. On the way a stop at the pass with a remote inspection of the famous height 611, where, according to a legend, on January 29, 1986 an UFO crashed. Excursion to the Museum of the Stone to get acquainted with the unique exhibits. Excursion to the Brynner lighthouse in the picturesque Bay of Two Brothers, inspection of the same named kekurs. Scenic road along the open sea of Japan.

Breakfast in a box. Excursion to the largest waterfall in Primorye region «Black Shaman Waterfall». Lunch on the route (lunch box). Departure towards the Plastun village to the picturesque recreation area, called the Pearl of Northern Primorye — Dukhovskie Lakes. Dinner (to be paid on spot) along the way. Breakfast in a box. Excursion to the largest waterfall in Primorye region «Black Shaman Waterfall». The height of the waterfall is 33 meters. The Amgu River, sandwiched on both sides by high rocks, has formed a canyon of rare beauty, called the «Devil’s Mouth». The name of the waterfall is quite justified, the sound of falling water is similar to the ringing of a shaman’s tambourine. The nature around is fantastic. Lunch on the route (lunch box). Departure towards the Plastun village to the picturesque recreation area, called the Pearl of Northern Primorye — Dukhovskie Lakes. Dinner (to be paid on spot) along the way. Day 8. Mramornoye and Dukhovskoye lakes, Cape Rasypny, Dubovaya bay
Breakfast at the base. Excursion to the lakes Mramornoye and Dukhovskoye, Cape Rasypny. A short walk through one of the best places in Northern Primorye, picturesquely located among the taiga forts of Sikhote-Alin. Departure to the unusually attractive Dubovaya bay.

Breakfast at the base. Departure to the Olginsky district, visiting the bay of St. Vladimir. Acquaintance with the medical and prophylactic sanatorium Gornovodnoye. Mineral waters at the pass between the valleys of the Avvakaumovka and Margaritovka rivers have been known since antiquity; their description can be found in the works of Arsenyev. Water intake is carried out before lunch. On request, you can take mineral baths (for an additional fee). Lunch. Day 11. Elamovskie waterfalls
Breakfast at the campsite. Excursion to Elamovskie waterfalls. Departure to Vladivostok. On the way (optional) visit a maral breeding farm. Full contact with representatives of the red deer family. Lunch at the farm (to be paid on spot). Arrival in Vladivostok by 20.00-22.00. Accommodation at hotel Amur Bay***/Azimut Vladivostok****.
Breakfast at the campsite. Excursion to Elamovskie waterfalls, the most beautiful waterfalls, which were formed by cutting a narrow valley in a stone plateau. With a noisy stream, water flows along the canyon and, rolling down from stone ledges and steps, forms cascades, rapids of different heights. The number of waterfalls reaches 27. The most famous of them is the «Star of Primorye». Departure to Vladivostok. On the way (optional) visit a maral breeding farm. Full contact with representatives of the red deer family.
