12:00 The group leaves for the Kyug yurt complex, where tourists will spend the next two days. The Kyug complex is located 140 kilometers from Abakan, on the banks of the small Askiz River, practically on the territory of the Kazanovka National Museum-Reserve. In this place, two mountainous regions adjoin — Altai and Sayany.
The yurt complex was created especially for tourists. Wooden yurts fully correspond to their prototype — the yurts of nomadic peoples. They are comfortable for living, have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each is designed for 1-2 people. Separately located dining room, toilets, showers. The complex is named after the valley in which it is located. And «Kyug» in translation into Russian means «joy, pleasure».
After lunch excursion to National museum of Khakassia “Kazanovka”, where you will see
rock paintings, which are 3-5 thousand years old. Moreover, you will be shown how archaeologists copy these images onto paper for further study, and the resulting drawings can be taken as a rare souvenir. In addition, you will learn the purpose of the mysterious vertical stones sticking out of the ground throughout Khakassia, and see real archaeological excavations.
