In the morning, departure to inspect the surroundings of Lake Belyo. Mysterious «Chests» is a mountain range in the area of the famous salt lake-resort Shira. Unusual outliers on the tops of the mountains and unusual mountains used, according to archaeologists for stargazing. Before us is an ancient observatory — Siberian Stonehenge. The chests are not just an observatory, they are a kind of temples associated with rock carvings. The strength of the stone made it possible to preserve the traces of the ancestor in relative integrity, it remains only to be able to read these traces, as experienced pathfinders read them. After lunch, departure to Tuimsky gap, to the former mining village of Tuim. Tuimsky gap is a former mine «Kiyalykh-Uzen». In the 50s, molybdenum and copper concentrates were mined here. Now not everyone remembers why the Kiyalykh-Uzen mine collapsed: either from the explosion, or itself. You will see a stone canyon with many-meter veins of black and green ore — molybdenum and copper. At the bottom of the canyon there are sharp-angled stones the size of a car. And in the middle there is a mysterious dark lake about five hundred meters long and three hundred meters wide. In the sun, the water instantly turns emerald: green copper ore gives it its color. There are nine black holes in the rocks around the circumference. These are the galleries of the former mine. (BLD)
