Overview

The Lahemaa National Park located on the Gulf of Finland shore (about 70 km from Tallinn) was established in 1971. It was the first national park in the USSR. Lahemaa is the biggest in Estonian National Park. The Lahemaa Park marked with several trails attracts tourist by its virgin sandy beaches, waterfalls cascade and mossy pine forests. Tour of Lahemaa national park includes a variety of natural and cultural sights, such as the Palmse Manor (Baroque house of the XVIII c.) and the 400-year-old fishing hamlet of Altja.
