The consular department of the Russian Embassy in your home country issues different categories of Russian visas based upon the purpose of the trip and the duration of stay in Russia. Therefore there are such kinds of visas as: tourist visa, private visa, transit visa.
The Russian tourist visa allows travellers to visit Russia as tourists for a maximum of 30 days. However the actual stay in Russia should not exceed the dates of the tour. Russian tourist visa cannot be extended. You can apply for a single or double entry visa.
As a tour operator we supply our clients with invitation letter (voucher and confirmation) needed for a tourist visa. If you book a tour or at least hotel accommodation with our company we will provide you with visa supporting documents free of charge.

In case your planned trip extends 16 days or requires double entry to Russia you need to apply for a normal tourist visa. If your planned trip exceeds 30 days, you will require a business visa. We can assist our clients in applying for a business visa as well.
A Russian business visa can be issued for SGL, DBL or multiple entries with the validity from one month to one year, in some exceptional cases up to 3-5 years. Processing time can vary from 10 to 20 working days.
For obtaining a business visa a business invitation to Russia is a mandatory. A business invitation can be issued in electronic form (telex) which is sent directly to the consulate. After the telex has been sent, you will receive from us an e-mail with the information about the telex. Then you can apply for a business visa at the Russian consulate attaching following documents: passport, business invitation, completed application form, photograph.
From January 1, 2021, many visitors to Russia will be able to travel to any region of Russia using an electronic visa. You can check if you can apply for an e-visa by entering your country of citizenship in the verification form above.
The electronic visa will be valid only for a single entry for up to 60 days following a successful application. However, the duration of the actual stay in Russia must not exceed 16 days.
Travelers will be able to apply for an e-visa on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. Processing time will not exceed more than four calendar days. An e-visa document will be received by email or can be downloaded on the website.
