Overview

This tour is for those who likes comfort and don’t want to overnight in tents. During the tour we will visit unique places of Kamchatka: - Tolbachinsky Dol, cone, caves, dead forest, waterfalls, etc. - Eruption of a volcano of Shiveluch. - volcanoes-giants (the Klyuchevskoy, the Kamen, the Ushkovsky, the Bezymyanny, the Tolbachik). - Original villages: Kluchi, Kozyrevsk, Milkovo, Esso. - Malki hot springs

Itinerary

Day 1. Welcome to Kamchatka
Meeting at the airport, transfer to Petropavlovsk (25 km). Accommodation at hotel***. Walking in the Black beach.
Day 2. Free day
Free day. On this day optional tours are recommended: 1) Helicopter tour to the Valley of Geysers; 2) Helicopter tour the Bears of the Kuril Lake. 3) Boat trip around the Avacha Bay In the afternoon moving to the settlement Milkovo (280 km, 3-4 hours). Accommodation at the Geolog Hotel (the room has a toilet and washbasin, shower is located in a separate room on the floor). (B)
Day 3. Tolbachinsky Dol
Moving by vehicle to the Tolbachinsky Dol (240km – 6-7 h), to the foot of the beautiful volcanic massif formed by volcanoes the Ostry (Sharp) Tolbachik and the Plosky (Plane) Tolbachik (90 km, 3 hours). Accommodation in a glamping at the “Tolbachik Camp” (4-6 pax in one glamp). Walk in the Dead Forest, the destruction of scoria and ash eruptions in 1975. (BLD)
Day 4. Mount Kleshnya
Moving to the Mount Kleshnya (13 km). Observing new (eruption of 2013) lava cones, flows and caves. Overnight in glamping. (BLD)
Day 5. North and South breakthroughs
Drive to the North breakthrough and making a simple climb to the new Tolbachik cones — volcanoes in miniature, their height is about 100-200 m. Roast hot dogs and buns in the cracks still hot lava. Observing the cones of the South breakthrough. Transfer to Klyuchi village (140 km, 4-5 h) which is located at the foot of the Eurasia highest volcano – Klyuchevskoy (4750 m). Accommodation at a private hotel. (BLD)
Day 6. Shiveluch volcano
Moving by vehicle (45 km) to the beautiful volcanic massif formed by volcano Shiveluch (3307m). Walking (2-3 hours) to the Wings of Gamuls (mythical Spirits of Volcanoes) Canyon and in Dead Forest. Return to the hotel in Klyuchi village. (BLD)
Day 7. Trip to a high-mountain volcanic plateau
A trip to a giant circus (130 km, 3 hours, one way), to a high-mountain volcanic plateau surrounded on all sides by the highest volcanoes of Kamchatka (Krestovsky (4057m.), Ushkovsky (3903m.), Klyuchevskoy (4750m.), Kamen (4579m .), Tolbachik (3672m.), Nameless (2869m). Fantastic panoramic views! Walk (3-4 hours) along the alpine highlands to the canyon of the Studyonaya river. Transfer to Kozyrevsk (55km). Accommodation in a cozy comfortable hotel «Tolbachik».(BLD)
Day 8. Petropanlovsk-Kamchatsky
Returning to Petropanlovsk-Kamchatsky. Early vehicle transfer (480 km, 6-7 hr) to the hotel. Stop for lunch at cafe in Milkovo settlement (to pay on spot) and stop at Malki hot springs on the way. Accommodation, rest. (B)
Day 9. Free day
Free day. On this day optional tours are recommended: 1) Helicopter tour to the Valley of Geysers; 2) Helicopter tour the Bears of the Kuril Lake. 3) Boat trip around the Avacha Bay (B)
Day 10. Farewell Kamchatka
